Altered comp book

Here's a composition notebook I altered for DH. I found the notebook when I was working at Wally World in Prescott AZ over the summer. It has a black faux leather cover. I also bought one for myself in brown. That should be fun to play with also, someday soon... :)

Love the altered composition book! How did you attach everything if it was faux leather? Did he like it? Can't wait to see what you do w/your notebook.

Hi Jill,
I used matte gel medium to adhere the papers to the cover of the book, and it worked like a charm. I wanted the papers to retain their matte look. However, it dulled the faux leather that I wanted to leave exposed. I may go back and use a varnish or gloss medium on the black "leather".
DH does like it, but he likes---or says he likes--everything I make. He's totally biased!
Thanks for asking~
